OkayStudio appoints Marina Präger as Executive Producer
The London and Berlin-based post-production studio strengthens German market credentials with senior agency and production hire.
OkayStudio, the artist-led post-production studio specialising in edit, grade, and VFX, has appointed Marina Präger as Executive Producer Europe, based at its Berlin studio.
Präger joins from David+Martin, where she served as Head of Production, and brings over 15 years of experience producing award-winning campaigns across the German-speaking markets.
The appointment marks a strategic move to accelerate OkayStudio's European growth as the integrated studio approaches its third anniversary in Berlin this spring. Präger joins the senior leadership team alongside Managing Director David Thomas and Executive Producer Jack Howard in London, and will focus on building the studio's presence across key commercial categories including automotive, telecommunications, tech, entertainment, beverage, fashion and beauty, and sports, categories where OkayStudio has delivered recent work for brands including Vodafone, O2, Netflix, Tanqueray, König Pilsener, McDonald's, Kia and Zalando, collaborating with creative and production partners Innocean, Mother, Anomaly, Iconoclast, RadicalMedia, and Tempomedia.
"Marina spent more than 14 years on the agency and production side working with some of the best creatives and brands in Germany," said Nikolaj Belzer, OkayStudio co-founder and CEO. "She understands how campaigns come together from client needs, to concept to delivery, and that perspective is rare in post-production. We're excited to have her lead our European growth from Berlin."
Präger brings extensive production leadership experience across brands including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Deutsche Telekom, Google, Calvin Klein, Zalando, and Marc Cain. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with leading agencies and production partners such as Antoni, Jung von Matt, and Serviceplan.
Most recently at David+Martin, Präger served as Head of Production, managing interdisciplinary teams and budgets with a strong focus on operational precision and long-term client relationships.
“Creativity thrives when trust, curiosity, and talent come together, when different perspectives are embraced, and fun definitely has to be a part of the process,” says Präger. “I can’t wait to work with such an inspiring team, both familiar faces and new colleagues alike.”
