Created by Snow Films through WDM Entertainment and helmed by Fresh Films' Anna Snowball for Netflix, this charismatic 12-minute documentary (currently only available for UK viewing), offers a colourful glimpse into London’s Iranian community.
The concept stemmed from an encounter between Snowball and an eccentric Farsi language paper in a Persian restaurant. She became fascinated by the intriguing free ads and the stories behind them, resulting in the film’s title, Iranian Yellow Pages.
Combining authentic human storytelling and gorgeous motion graphics, the film showcases the connections and experiences of individuals caught between two cultures through the lens of Raza, a character striving for success in his new life in London.
