This captivating film, directed by Naghmeh Pour through new–land, presents a collaboration between The Woman Life Freedom project and Iranian-Italian fashion brand Pairi Daeza, which involved the production of twelve scarves designed by Iranian artists.
Usually seen as a symbol of oppression, the headscarves have been embellished with bold illustrations that invoke a spirit of female empowerment and independence.
The creative subtly showcases the uniquely designed garments against a breathtaking landscape, capturing the country’s rich cultural heritage and traditions through intriguing symbolic imagery and immersive sound design.
All of the profits from the project went directly to supporting the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center, which supports the women’s movement in Iran.
