Fast food giant McDonalds puts its iconic logo as the heart of this uplifting campaign celebrating three decades of the fast food giant in South Africa, created by TBWA Hunt Lascaris JHB and directed by Darling Films' Slim.
Shot in Cape Town across an ambitious two-day schedule, the film sees South Africans floating away from mundane, everyday situations into the comforting glow of its timeless Golden Arches.
Impressively, it was created mostly in-camera, blending relatable local insight with practical lighting, wirework and rigging. A classic Hollywood jazz-inspired score adds nostalgic charm, enhancing the magical, feel-good tone of the piece.
