Directed by Love, Dallas for his track Metal Hands, this richly textured promo follows the singer as he moves through a moody wind farm marshland chasing a mysterious figure that is possibly his own bright shadow.
What begins as a frantic pursuit of something otherworldly gradually reveals itself to be an inward collapse: the luminous person is not a separate entity, but a manifestation of a love that has consumed him entirely.
It is the part of himself that feels too much, too brightly – the emotional extremity he cannot avoid. Shout out to some gorgeous cinematography from Jude O’Connor who also co-edited with Felicity Easton.
