Movement-based music videos often rely on the sheer dexterity of their performers to wow the viewer.

However, with this dreamy, delightful vid for Joji track 777 from Pomp & Clout director Saad Moosajee, you get a double jaw-drop - once when you see the incredible expressionist ballet of its characters and the second when you realise that it's all the same person.

As detailed in a fascinating Making Of, the gorgeous visuals of Moosajee's film were generated through collaboration with artist and dancer Maya Man, who choreographed the performances, then digitally captured them using motion capture in conjunction with Unreal Engine’s real time capabilities.

With the ability to puppet the movement of every character in the video, essential considering the shoot was during quarantine, the final piece was then stitched together and sequenced amongst hundreds of digital lights by animators Zuheng Yin and Chanyu Chen.
