The renowned Australian film director joins La Pac for representation across feature film and advertising.
John Hillcoat is an Australian director working across feature film and advertising.
His work has been widely awarded, including a Cannes Lions Grand Prix in 2018 for Corazón, starring Ana de Armas and Demián Bichir. His collaboration with Nick Cave on The Proposition (2005) won critical acclaim and recognition at the AFI Awards.
Then came his masterpiece, The Road (2009), an adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel carried by Viggo Mortensen, followed by Lawless (2012), in competition for the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
He has also won several AICP Awards for Lilly's Good Days, and directed projects for Volkswagen, Nike, Apple, Coca-Cola, Ford and Levi's.
