Haven’t You Done Well signs SEQUEL
Director duo SEQUEL join the Australian production company for commercial representation.
Haven’t You Done Well, the Australian production company founded by Aunty Donna, has signed director duo SEQUEL for commercial representation.
SEQUEL, composed of Zachary Bradtke and Naomi Akikusa-Dawber, is a Melbourne-based creative collective working at the intersection of video, design and storytelling.
Their film and design portfolio includes work for Samsung, M&M’s, Nike, City of Melbourne, Adidas, STAN, ABC, and artists such as Mac DeMarco, Christina Aguilera, Billie Eilish, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and, more importantly, John Farnham.
“I first came across SEQUEL on Instagram and was immediately hooked by their rare ability to make comedy look genuinely beautiful. Too often funny work gets sacrificed at the altar of ad tropes or sloppy absurdity, but Zach and Naomi elevate it,” says Tom Rickard, EP at Haven’t You Done Well.
“They manage a balance few can pull off: irreverent in spirit, premium in execution. They treat silliness with severity, making the end result look effortless.”
The signing follows 18 months of rapid growth within HYDW’s branded division. Representing the likes of Emma Debany, The Perlorian Brothers and Max Miller, HYDW has quickly become Australia’s go-to home for comedy directors and entertainment-driven branded formats.
