On World Parkinson’s Day, France Parkinson and TBWA Paris unveiled this bold and unsettling campaign, titled Prisoner, to confront public perception and reveal the reality of living with the neurological condition.

Directed by Lucie Bourdeu through Hiersoir, the cleverly crafted film transports us to a nightmarish scene where a woman struggles to find her way out of a dark room, her movements jerky and stunted as her shoes become stuck to the ground.

Reaching the end of a long corridor, she falls into a suffocating cocoon of human skin – a discomforting visual metaphor for the gradual, irreversible feeling of being trapped inside one’s own body, a silent, progressive confinement.
