Created by Zubi/VML/Coral Gables and directed by Phil Hessler through Think Less, this colourful short film is the final instalment in Ford Motor Company’s three-part series La Caravana, featuring Dominican-born, Miami-based content creators the Ventura Twins.
The film follows the duo on the final leg of an action-packed drive from Miami to Los Angeles in Ford’s F-150 Lobo, exploring the vibrant Latino communities they encounter along the way. In this episode, they meet the artists behind Pacoima’s Mural Mile, including Levi Ponce, Kristy Sandoval and Hector Ponce.
Through authentic, engaging conversations, the film explores how their work has transformed a once-forgotten block into an open-air gallery of world-class murals. The subtle filmmaking allows these interactions to take centre stage, capturing the artists and their stories without interrupting the organic, conversational feel.
