While anthropomorphising inanimate objects isn’t a new concept, it takes particular care and attention to give them as much character and charm as this brilliant little spot for Austrian energy brand Energie AG, titled Feel Good Energy.
Skilfully brought to life through a seamless mix of live action and animation by director Johnny Kelly and Nexus Studios, the film transforms electrical sockets into singing characters, each with its own distinctive personality and style.
The soundtrack features a new recording of Newley and Bricusse’s classic Feeling Good, performed by UK-based SIPHO, which Fonic built upon to craft a detailed and dynamic mix, adjusting the reverb of each socket to reflect its individual space and environment.
