What better way to mark the revival of animated internet cult Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared than a film reimagining its iconic characters as participants in some kind of absurd, folk-horror ritual?
The fever-dreamish film, titled HARK! and produced by Blinkink, marks a return to the web for the British musical-horror-comedy series created by Becky Sloan and Joe Pelling.
Blending live-action, incredible puppetry and a dash of VFX, the mad craft and creativity packed into this short film reflects the show’s ongoing legacy and its makers' devotion to the fandom, which has grown since it started as a YouTube series thirteen years ago.
Now for the first time, all six half-hour TV episodes of Blinkink’s BAFTA award-winning Channel 4 series are available to watch worldwide on the new website.
