Is there anything in the universe quite as soft as a baby’s foot? These and other musings on softness will bubble gently to the surface of your mind, like a submerged rubber duck floating upwards as you languish in this lovely warm bath of a film.
Created by Paris agency Romance and helmed by Argentinian director Martin Kalina, through Wanda, the spot celebrates shared bathing moments: parents and their tots splash bubbles about, a teenager immerses himself to recharge, sporty types shed their muddy second skins, steam-shrouded lovers share a shower.
Accompanied by a mellow score, the film is a relaxing watch – a fluffy cat lounges in a basin and a dog snoozes on a bathroom floor while its owner reads in the tub. Such simple scenes reminding us that in turbulent times, ‘A little gentleness feels good, too.’
