Montefiore Einstein's festive work has always managed to mix powerful messages with magical visuals, but for this year's outing, they've gone out of this world.
Again working with creative partner Aldo, the medical centre's film this year - The Rarest Stars Shine Brightest - concerns a ragtag team of youngsters clubbing together to save the day. So far, so Goonies.
However, the stars of this particular execution are five children living with rare conditions [Piebaldism, Achondroplasia, Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia dwarfism, and Ehlers-danlos syndrome], adding a level of authenticity to the spectacle.
Helmed by veteran director Steve Rogers, the endearing short plays on the tropes of family favourites from yesteryear, albeit with visuals that wouldn't look out of place in a 2024 blockbuster.
In a lovely addition, the project's OOH work has been created by award-winning artist Steve Chorney.
Best known for his work creating iconic hand-drawn movie posters [Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood], Chorney's renditions further reinforce the nostalgia-fuelled feel of the campaign.
