BaconX adds Gemma Conway as EP
Executive Producer Gemma Conway has joined Copenhagen-based post-production house BaconX to lead the studio’s creative output across the US, EU, and UK markets.
BaconX announce the appointment of Gemma Conway as Executive Producer.
Based in Los Angeles, Conway brings 20 years of experience leading productions at some of the world’s top agencies; Droga5, adam&eveDDB, Johannes Leonardo, Mother, 72andSunny and BBH. Known for her commitment to craft, creativity and collaboration, she will play a key role in strengthening BaconX’s presence internationally.
Conway joins with a career defined by two decades of global production expertise across some of the world’s most recognised brands. Her transition into post-production represents a natural progression for a producer whose work has consistently emphasised exceptional execution and creative integrity.
Beginning her career in the UK instilled in her a deep respect for meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Relocating to the United States broadened that perspective, introducing a new pace, scale and optimism. This blend of cultures has shaped a producer who leads with empathy, patience and an innate understanding of people; qualities that define her approach to every project. For Conway, post is where stories truly come to life, and she is energised by the opportunity to bring her experience into this next chapter.
Conway's body of work includes a range of award-winning and high-profile productions, including a recent campaign featuring Ben Stiller for Chase. While celebrity-driven projects can be standout moments, Conway notes that the most rewarding experiences come from working alongside exceptional teams. “No two jobs are the same,” she says. “You’re constantly honing your skills, and the best experiences always come down to the people you’re creating with.”
“BaconX exudes creativity, high production values and positivity,” Conway says. “I’m thrilled to lead our US expansion and continue making work I’m genuinely proud of.” With her appointment, BaconX continues to expand its footprint across the US delivering world-class creative and post-production services.
Outside of work, Conway stays connected to creativity through music, movement and hands-on making. She enjoys sewing and tailoring thrifted pieces, as well as painting; an increasingly meditative practice that allows her to unwind and explore without expectation.
