Bacon adds Bianca Poletti

The award-winning director has worked with Bacon on several projects and now she formally joins the roster.
Director Bianca Poletti is keeping busy.
Over the past year and a half, the Argentinian director has made 20 commercials and still found time for several passion projects like her short film Radical Honesty, which won Gold in the Low Budget Category at Ciclope last week. This week she will be releasing new spots for TikTok and Ford, as well with a her contribution to Bacon’s collaboration with Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp.
The latter comes along with the announcement that Poletti is signing with Bacon for Scandinavian representation. This constellation is not a new one, having worked together on several films for Pandora, and now the award winning director is formally joining the roster.
“Working with Bianca, you immediately sense her urgency to create. She has a rare attention to detail in both the treatment process and production, which shines through in both her distinct visuals and storytelling. She is impossible to box in because she is constantly challenging herself as a director and developing at such a rapid pace,” says Mette Jermiin, CEO & EP at Bacon.
“Besides her talent as a filmmaker, Bianca has a wonderful personality, which makes her a joy to work with for everyone.”
Based in Los Angeles, Bianca Poletti started out her career co-directing a film written and produced by James Franco. Since then, she ventured into shorter formats along with commercials, now regularly working in Europe. As an extension of this, the Bacon match was natural.
“Every Bacon director is really special, and all of their films look amazing. They have just the right amount of weirdness while being heavy on storytelling,” says Bianca Poletti. “Working with Bacon, you get the coolest energy. You get everything done but also have fun, it truly feels like family.”
