Last night the Kinsale Sharks announced the winners in this year's music video and short films category. 


The Weeknd False Alarm


Of the 47 gold Sharks handed out at the event, the big winners on the night were False Alarm [above] for The Weeknd, which picked up four golds for Best VFX/Animation International, Best Cinematography International, Best Direction International and Best Music Video International. 

Other promos picked up a brace of Sharks, including Talos for Reborn [below], which won in Best Direction Ireland and Best Music Video Ireland; Makeba Jain which, like False Alarm, won gold in Best VFX/Animation International and Best VFX/Animation International; and Brave Giant's Devil, which won in Best Direction Ireland and Best Low Budget Ireland. 

Other notable winners were Dua Lipa's New Rules, which won for Best Editing International and Sundarkarma No Clock, which won Best Low Budget International.

 

Talos Reborn

 

In the short film section, Max Blustin's film, A Magician, picked up Best Short Film Under 5 Minutes, while Phoebe Haines's What's Wrong With Raymond picked up a hat-trick of Sharks (Best Sound, Best Documenatary and Best Cinematography).
