The Ad Council has put together a pro-bono PSA campaign including broadcast, digital, radio, print and out of home placements to help raise donations to aid those effected by Hurricane Harvey. Harvey is the biggest storm to hit the U.S. in more than a decade.

charlieuniformtango was proud to be called in to help on the “Texas Strong” video portion of the campaign. “We were so grateful to have the opportunity to help with the relief effort in some way,” said charlieuniformtango principal/CEO Lola Lott. “Thank you to GSD&M for inviting us to jump in and work on this important campaign.”

charlieuniformtango created visually powerful digital graphics depicting the flooding of the Texas Flag for the “Texas Strong” video. Austin, Texas-based GSD&M enlisted the vocal talents of actor and fellow Austin resident Matthew McConaughey. The True Detective star invokes state pride while reapplying the agency’s own classic antilittering tagline, “Don’t mess with Texas,” created in 1985 for the Texas Department of Transportation.
