Do you know much about Gaelic football? No? Well, you're in good company because neither do Sky football pundits Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara.

But in this new branded series for Allied Irish Bank (AIB) through Irish agency ROTHCO the famous pairing of Jeff and Kammy travel to Ireland in a bid to learn about the game with a view to commentating on the Gaelic Football All-Ireland Championship Final at Croke Park, Dublin, on September 17th.

The eight part series is called Jeff and Kammy's Journey to Croke and has been created in support of AIB’s sponsorship of the Gaelic Athletics Association (GAA) Senior Football Championship.

The campaign looks beyond the players to demonstrate that ‘Club Fuels County’ by plunging Kamara and Stelling into the world of Gaelic Football. The two Sky Sports commentators will be put to the ultimate challenge that will see them learn about GAA from the grassroots up.

Travelling across Ireland, Kamara and Stelling will witness the thread that links small clubs to the biggest stage in the land, gearing up for the ultimate challenge of their commentating - and pronunciation - skills.

“The importance of the club structure in GAA and how it moulds players for the bigger county stage in our amateur sport, is a well-known story for GAA fans," says Rothco account director, James Moore. "What we wanted to do was shine a light on this aspect of the sport from a unique and entertaining perspective. What better way to do that than to take two eminent pundits, from arguably the biggest and most professional soccer league in the world, and let them discover it for themselves?” says Rothco account director, James Moore.

The campaign will run online and on social media. The first of the eight episodes will air today [Monday July 31 2017] and each week the series will be supported by behind the scenes social content. Episode One, Hit the Road Jeff, can be viewed at the top of this page.
