UNIT VFX welcomes Mia Harvey-Luckwell
Harvey-Luckwell rejoins as a VFX Line Producer fresh from Union VFX and Jellyfish.
UNIT VFX, has welcomed back Mia Harvey-Luckwell as a VFX Line Producer, further strengthening the studio’s long form production team as it continues to expand its high-end television and feature film slate.
Harvey-Luckwell joins with over seven years experience across a number of acclaimed long form projects, including Apple TV’s Slow Horses season five, Sony Pictures’ 28 Years Later and Netflix’s animated series Wolf King.
Her career to date has seen her work at big name studios such as Union VFX, Jellyfish Pictures and Misc Studios, supporting complex productions and collaborating closely with other producers, supervisors and creative teams to deliver ambitious work on schedule.
On Apple TVs Slow Horses season five, Harvey-Luckwell was part of a tight-knit team delivering high-quality work at pace, while Sony Pictures’ 28 Years Later marked her first experience on a large-scale VFX production, providing invaluable insight into complex workflows and cross-department collaboration. Netflix’s Wolf King proved a particular highlight, with Harvey-Luckwellinvolved from the layout / animation stage through to final delivery, working closely with the directors in-house and completing animation reference filming as part of the project.
At UNIT, Harvey-Luckwell steps into the role of VFX Line Producer, overseeing projects from pre-production through to final delivery. She will support early-stage scheduling and resourcing, guide teams through production, and ensure seamless coordination across departments to maintain both creative ambition and operational efficiency.
