Epoch Films has signed Danish director Tore Frandsen for US commercial representation. Known for his elevated cinematic visuals and dry, observational humor, Frandsen brings his sharp sensibility stateside.

Blending wit, conceptual precision, and an artist’s eye, Frandsen is celebrated for his ability to move fluidly across genres while maintaining a distinct observational signature. His brand work is grounded in narrative clarity, reflecting his thoughtful, no-shortcuts approach. Artistically curious and deeply collaborative, Frandsen’s craft has earned him a string of awards and recognition on the international festival circuit.

His film for the Danish Road Safety Council won a Grand Prix at the Epica Awards, a Gold at the British Arrows, a Grand Prix at the Clios, and a Cannes Lions. His other acclaimed work includes campaigns for Sennheiser, Coca-Cola, and the Wyoming Department of Health, as well as the short film FOMO Forever, created with TrygFonden and the Danish Cancer Society. Frandsen has also directed projects for Carlsberg, Toyota, Netflix, HBO, and LEGO, and his narrative work includes Party Crashers and the Vimeo Staff Pick-winning short A Waste of Life.

“Epoch’s taste in both brand and narrative work is unmatched,” says Frandsen. “They champion filmmakers with distinct voices and push their work out into the world with such care and conviction. I’m thrilled to join the roster and can’t wait to see where this collaboration leads in the U.S.”

Melissa Culligan, Epoch’s Managing Executive Producer and Partner, shares, “We pride ourselves on discovering exciting new talent and nurturing their growth. It’s always a gift to find someone so well established in another market who you know will connect in powerful ways with new audiences.”

Epoch’s Founding Partner Mindy Goldberg adds, “We’re excited to put Tore’s work into the American market and look forward to opportunities from agencies and brands to collaborate with him on new work!"
