The Corner Shop have announced that Heather Link has been promoted to Managing Director of its UK operation.
A true champion for new talent Link will look to continue to help the company grow its commercials roster as the company expands its long-form division.
Link joined The Corner Shop as Executive Producer in August 2025. She instantly connected and related to Anna Hashmi’s vision for the company, sharing her passion and enthusiasm for championing compelling storytellers. Since joining Link has provided the support for the development of the commercial roster by securing high-profile productions and signings.
The promotion comes at a significant moment for The Corner Shop, which relaunched its brand identity and website this month, emphasising the company's globally-minded outlook and values: founded on craft, driven by culture, built on community.
The appointment marks a natural progression for Link, who brings 27 years of experience spanning production, marketing and business leadership. Before joining The Corner Shop, she co-founded and ran Missing Link Films for eight years. Prior to that, she held a senior marketing role at HSBC and before that various roles at CNN marketing, giving her a rare fluency in both the creative and client sides of the industry.
As MD, Link will oversee the continued growth of the commercials roster and development and work with Anna in expanding the company’s long-form and documentary division over the coming years.
