Brand mascots Connie the doll and Trevor the dinosaur are back again in a tuneful campaign for Argos created by T&Pm.
With the deathless lyrics “Yeah, I'm your boy – Your 20th century toy,” the ad brilliantly repurposes the 1973 T. Rex hit 20th Century Boy written by Marc Bolan.
Partizan director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman, Better Man), depicts Trevor living out his dreams as a rockstar by performing his own cover of T-Rex tune on top of a special Xmas gift from his bezzie Connie – a Marshall speaker.
Animated by ETC, with music from David Kosten and sound by Munzie Thind at Wave, the film continues to build on the 'There’s More To Argos' brand platform that launched last year, showcasing the range of unexpected products offered by the retailer.
