SixDegrees.org releases campaign with VERSUS and P3
The campaign by VERSUS challenges the legacy of exclusion in mentorship, reframing access for underserved youth.
SixDegrees.org and Advertising Week’s Purpose, Produced initiative unveils its second campaign, a vibrant partnership between creative studio VERSUS and nonprofit career accelerator The Pulse of Perseverance Project (P3).
The dynamic 360-degree campaign, Re:framing Mentorship, pivots on an inspiring brand film that invites audiences to rethink mentorship, spotlighting P3 as a driving force poised to open the doors of opportunity for a new generation.
Purpose, Produced is a six-part initiative matching ambitious nonprofits with top creative studios to magnify their missions through strategic storytelling. SixDegrees.org, the organisation behind the initiative in partnership with Advertising Week, shared a first look at the campaigns during a fireside chat with its founder, actor and philanthropist Kevin Bacon, and executive director Stacy Huston at Advertising Week earlier this month.

Re:framing Mentorship is the second of the campaigns to be released. Daring to challenge the legacy of exclusion, it positions P3's innovative mobile app as a game-changer, placing transformative mentorship opportunities right in the palms of students who need them most. Rather than presenting mentorship as a privilege, this work recasts professional networks as an accessible paradigm shift: one that empowers youth to dream audaciously and blaze their own trails.
Driven by a spirit of creativity and disruption, the VERSUS team brought the campaign's vision to life through a rich portfolio of assets: an electrifying 60-second anthem and manifesto hybrid hero video, targeted B2B and B2C content galvanising action, and sleek 30- and 15-second cutdowns for maximum impact across all digital and broadcast platforms.
“We approached the campaign with a filmmaker’s eye - searching for truth in the small, human moments. By grounding the story in real mentors and mentees and framing it through life’s universal questions ‘What’s my path? Where do I belong? Who could I become?’ we turned tech innovation into something deeply personal: a cinematic reflection on connection, access, purpose, and possibility,” said director Clark Slater.
“We saw an opportunity to look beyond the brief and tell a story that could move people to act,” said David Edelstein, EP, Director Brand Strategy at VERSUS. “The brand film became the emotional core of a 360 campaign that shows how powerful creative can be when it’s grounded in purpose. Compounding this, our Director Clark Slater has a passion for mentoring and leaned fully into the project, which truly radiates through the work.”
“Through this campaign with Versus and SixDegrees, we’re proving that technology can be deeply human, connecting overlooked students with mentors who are vested in their success. Our ‘why’ is knowing that when a student meets a perfectly matched mentor, the trajectory of their life changes. P3 exists to make that moment accessible and repeatable, at scale,” said Dr. Maxime Madhere, cofounder and CEO of The Pulse of Perseverance Project.
Rachel Young, Communications & Projects Coordinator at SixDegrees.org, said: "Purpose, Produced is all about reframing what's possible when resources and expertise are available to those facing barriers to access, and the transformative impact is on full display in the powerful campaign VERSUS has developed for P3. VERSUS' unique approach to amplifying the P3 team’s passion and lived experience demonstrates that when creatives have an opportunity to leverage their talents in support of a cause, the potential for impact is limitless. We are thrilled to share this campaign with the world and truly believe it will change lives."
The campaign arrives at what P3 describes as a powerful inflection point, where technology and intention combine to expand horizons with proof, positivity, and possibility. By making mentorship accessible through a mobile app, P3 aims to level the playing field for students who have historically been excluded from traditional networks and resources.
