Simone Sebastian joins Henry
Parisian production studio Henry strengthens its international offering with the addition of London-based EP.
Simone Sebastian joins Henry as the production company’s international services lead.
Sebastian has spent her career connecting the worlds of brand, talent and media. In her most recent role as Head of Talent and New Business at Park Pictures London she worked closely with the international director roster - including Yann Demange, Georgia Hudson and Savannah Leaf - with a specific focus on direct-to-brand opportunities resulting in campaigns for On, Google, BYD and Zalando.
Working with Italian creative director Ferdinando Verderi at his eponymous luxury fashion studio gave her unparalleled access to the star-making and conversation-starting ideas at the heart of campaigns for Prada and Louis Vuitton including collaborations with photographers David Sims and Catherine Opie, artist Carrie Mae Weems, and Hollywood talent including Jeff Goldblum, Hunter Schafer, Rami Malek and Kendall Jenner.
In her role as Client Services Director at Dazed Studio, the creative studio of Dazed Media, she developed campaign and 360 brand partnership opportunities across Dazed, AnOther and Nowness, in addition to working on the launch of Dazed Beauty and A Future World. Her tenure at Dazed included 360 campaigns with Burberry, MINI, Nike, Adidas, Absolut, Dior Beauty, and YouTube amongst others.
“I’m excited to work with Henry’s exciting roster of directors who each combine cinematic experimentation with new gen sensibilities. I’m also eager to work with the team on an international proposition engineered for our current climate - agile, culture-first and truly global. I started my career in Dubai, and in the last decade briefs have crossed my desk from across Asia, the Middle East and North America, from teams as wide ranging as agency, in-house creative or direct from talent. Having cut my teeth at future facing creative studios, I understand that brand and creative teams are working at the speed of culture. Our goal is for Henry to be their creative production partner, with an exciting French roster of new gen directors combined with a truly collaborative and next gen approach." said Sebastian.
“Our ambition is to nurture the next generation of filmmakers, creatives who are excited by and express themselves in all forms of moving image. The creative industry is in the midst of tidal changes. We see these shifts as an opportunity to broaden the scope of our work in film and content, and to find new ways to connect clients with talent to create multidisciplinary projects with a global lens. When we met Simone, we felt we shared the same energy, passion and vision for taking on this moment and the next.” adds Hugo Diaz, Managing Director, Henry.
