Scout Motors is building, designing and engineering the next era of rugged trucks and SUVs.

Customers can choose between an all-electric system or the Harvester Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) system, which uses an onboard gas-powered generator to recharge the vehicle’s high-voltage battery and extend its range. The Harvester proves that sometimes, the next best thing to happen to electric is gas—another example of American ingenuity that’s just crazy enough to work.

To bring that thinking to life, agency VB+P partnered with production company RSA and acclaimed director Jake Scott to create Fish On, a classic, larger-than-life fishing story.

Shot on location along Oregon’s Clackamas River, the film follows a fisherman who reels in the catch of a lifetime, only to find himself battling for his own life in a white-knuckle thrill ride through dangerous rapids, past a ravenous bear and over a towering waterfall.

Like the best fishing tales, Fish On takes something that sounds almost too unbelievable to be true and brings it to life, a fitting way to launch the Harvester.
