It's tough to focus when you're a teenager. Hormones, life, love, music, fashion, school, social media - the list of distractions is endless. But that’s not ideal when you’re behind the wheel.
That's the impetus behind Project Yellow Light, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about distracted driving among youth across the US, founded by Julie Garner after her son Hunter tragically passed at age 16.
Drawing attention to the tragic pattern, Love Story is a hauntingly told short from The Martin Agency that shows the unremarkable circumstances that can lead to loss.
Directed by Quentin Deronzier through Le Pac and Arts & Sciences, the film smartly spends the majority of its runtime gently positioning the audience in a delightful friendship full of hope and promise, only to make the inevitable conclusion all the more devastating.
