London-based agency The Corner is behind the first ever TV spot for UK menswear brand MOSS.
Called The Case and directed by Owen Kasparian through Presence, the 50-second spot features a stylishly dressed man whose suitcase is being searched by a security guard. As he rifles through the man's bag, certain items raise confused - and slightly suspicious - looks which necessitates flashbacks to explain exactly how the items came to be there.
The campaign builds on the platform of 'Men of Style + Substance’, which was introduced last year, with the new work looking to take MOSS into more story-led, emotional territory.
"This summer we’re encouraging men to get stuck in and live a little," said Tom Ewart, Founding Partner and CCO of The Corner. "Don’t stand back and spectate, instigate. Crease that linen, scuff those loafers, lose yourself in the moment and ‘bring back stories’. Our campaign is a celebration of spontaneity, character and lived-in elegance. As Bukowski said: “To do a dangerous thing with style is what I call art”."
