PRETTYBIRD welcome director Laura Marciano to its UK roster.

The French filmmaker brings a cinematic, high-gloss aesthetic to the commercial space, merging lyrical intimacy with striking, fashion-forward imagery. Her work is defined by its textured realism, female gaze, and an instinct for capturing fleeting, human moments with authenticity and elegance. At PRETTYBIRD, she joins recent signees Nono Ayuso and Baloji.

Marciano is passionate about fashion, which translates into a vividly sensual, playful, and colourful onscreen style. Mixing her directing skills with her strong background in the arts, she likes to experiment and create films that are always a surprise.

She has directed award-winning videos for luxury brands, including Jean-Paul Gautier, YSL Beauty as well as clients such as Kitsuné, Fila, Maison Michel, Golden Goose, Diesel, Off-White, and LA-based brands like Starface and Miaou.

Alongside her commercial work, Laura has also crafted editorial pieces for L’Officiel and directed music videos for Latto, Asake, Tems, Tiakola, Lala & CE, and Black Coffee.

Emily Rudge, Managing Director, PRETTYBIRD UK said: “We are so excited to be welcoming Laura! She lives at this incredible intersection of film, fashion, and culture, and everything she touches feels bold, modern, and unapologetically confident. What we love most is her ability to create sensual, female-driven stories that feel both elevated and emotionally real. We’re genuinely thrilled to have her join PRETTYBIRD and can’t wait to see what we create together.”

Marciano adds: “Prettybird has such a special creative energy. I’m very excited to join the family, it already feels like home.”
