INNOCEAN expands its talent lineup
Sebastian Perschke joins as Business Director for Hyundai Motor Europe and Sarah Massaro joins as Business Director for Kia Europe.
INNOCEAN announces the appointment of two high-profile talents from leading agencies to strengthen its long-term collaboration with its European clients Hyundai Motor Europe and Kia Europe.
Sebastian Perschke joins as Business Director for Hyundai Motor Europe from DDB Frankfurt. He brings 25+years of marketing expertise, harnessed for more than a decade at MRM in Frankfurt, leading operations in Europe and German-speaking countries for automotive clients such as Seat, Cupra, Opel/Stellantis, PSA, FCA, GM, Cadillac, Chevrolet and NIO. His career started with roles leading the digitalization of the Nordic bank SEB AB. Since then, Perschke carried this digital focus into his agency work with automotive brands, placing particular emphasis on cross-functional delivery.
“I’m excited to start this new chapter and to work closely with an ambitious client in a phase where brands are challenged to evolve faster than ever. I’m looking forward to contributing my experience to shape strong, future-oriented solutions together with the teams.” said Perschke.
Sarah Massaro joined last year as Business Director for Kia Europe. She came from Mother Berlin, where she led the Fielmann accounts. Her 15-year advertising career progressed through roles at Jung von Matt, Kemmler Kemmler, Heimat and antoni-garage, where she led international campaigns for Mercedes-Benz and AMG. Additional automotive expertise includes her work for VW and Audi early in her career. Across all roles, her close collaboration with creative teams has been key to delivering results for ambitious brands.”
“What I value most at INNOCEAN is how closely we work with Kia, not as a traditional agency-client relationship, but as one collaborative, international team. Being so deeply embedded in the brand creates the trust and ambition to push ideas further and do work we can genuinely be proud of.” adds Massaro.
Both roles report to Susanne Plümecke, European Chief Operating Officer, who added: “As INNOCEAN continues to grow into a fully integrated agency, we’re intentionally bringing in leaders who fit this direction. Sarah and Sebastian stand for openness, genuine client understanding, and a collaborative, end-to-end approach, qualities that will be key to our future”.
The agency closed 2025 with strong growth, incorporating 30 new talents over the last year. Its sustained commitment to creative quality has gained it a place among the top-5 agencies in all the relevant German creative rankings.
