Punk rock and luxury chocolate aren't the most likely of bedfellows, but, as this terrific spot for Green & Black’s goes to show, sometimes organic can mean wild, raucous and untamed.
Pieced, or should we say slammed together by Somesuch's Kim Gehrig, Wildly. Deliciously. Organic. eschews the normally serene scenes of delicate food production and instead presents a wild, explosive, exciting montage of nature in action.
“We wanted to create a campaign that completely immersed you in the flavours of nature," states Caroline Rawlings, Creative Director at VCCP, the agency behind the spot. "Not the serene nature that we’re used to associating with organic food, but the wild, brutal, visceral, unadulterated nature where the best organic flavours are enjoyed. Not missing a drop of juice or a shard of nut. An assault on the senses.
"Kim got it straight away and her and her brilliant team made a film that exceeded all of our expectations of how a film made during a pandemic would end up.“
