Final Frontier welcomes director Rémi Parisse
The Award-winning filmmaker joins the global studio to expand its gaming and mixed-media offering.
Final Frontier announce the signing of director Rémi Parisse, who joins the studio’s global roster of visionary talent.
Known for his emotionally rich, rhythmically precise visual storytelling, Parisse brings with him a strong foundation in animation, experience at Illumination Studios, and a fast-growing reputation in the world of gaming cinematics, trailers, and branded storytelling.
Parisse began his career as an animator, working on major global titles including Despicable Me 2, Minions, and The Secret Life of Pets while at Illumination. Driven by a love of character and visual craft, he transitioned to directing, building a distinct voice shaped by influences ranging from The Coen Brothers and Terry Gilliam to the intensity of spaghetti westerns.
His diverse portfolio spans gaming cinematics, commercials, music videos, live-action short films, and mixed-media projects. Across formats and platforms, his work consistently balances a sharp cinematic eye with character-driven narratives, a style that has seen him win awards and attract international attention.
Gustavo Karam, co-founder and chief strategy officer at Final Frontier, comments: “Rémi joining the roster is a key step in Final Frontier’s natural evolution toward gaming, a space we’ve been exploring for several years now. He’s a unique talent, with a powerful ability to bring narrative depth and visual impact together. His live-action experience opens up further opportunities, particularly in the realm of mixed-media films, which we’re excited to develop further.”
Parisse adds: “Final Frontier has long been on my radar for its visual craft and global perspective. I’m excited to collaborate with the team and push storytelling into new territories, whether that’s cinematic trailers, commercials, or something entirely unexpected.”
This new partnership reinforces Final Frontier’s commitment to bold, boundary-pushing creative work, and to nurturing emerging voices who challenge expectations across animation, gaming, and design.
