Award-winning creative studio and production company Even/Odd announces the signing of Director and ONLUNCHBREAK (OLB) founder Thuan Tran.

Known for turning real, everyday moments into cinematic stories, Tran brings not only talent and vision, but a shared passion for partnerships where creativity, access and opportunity can flourish.

Tran’s work lives at the intersection of culture, community, and craft; raw but intentional, stylish yet profoundly authentic. He’s directed campaigns for brands like Google, Nike, StockX, Oura, McDonalds, and Amazon, as well as local charities and grassroots organizations.

Meanwhile, as the founder of creative studio and production house OLB, Tran has spent the last decade championing underrepresented voices and creating space for new creative talent to shine – making him a natural fit for Even/Odd’s ethos and approach.

“Even/Odd and I have a shared philosophy around culture; participating in this industry without simply extracting from the communities and culture that makes the work special in the first place,” explains Tran. “We value the same things: People over profits. Creating opportunity. Equity and inclusion. But more than that, I think Even/Odd can help me grow as a director while OLB continues to be a place where we experiment, collaborate, and bring a younger generation of artists into the fold.”

Mohammad Gorjestani, Director and Co-Founder of Even/Odd, agrees, adding: “Bringing Thuan into the Even/Odd family reflects our belief in filmmakers whose work is singular, culturally present, and instinctive about where culture is moving. I’ve long admired how Thuan treats knowledge, access, opportunity, and infrastructure as resources to circulate and grow. It’s exciting to partner with someone who is shaping the future of creative work.”
