Drip Studio Launches New Creator Division, Bridging the Gap Between Brands and Cultural Visionaries
Drip Studio has officially launched its new creator division in response to the growing demand for social-first marketing and the unique value and cultural currency creators bring to the work.
The division brings together a curated group of creative voices with expertise spanning art, fashion, food, beauty, sport, music and culture.
“We had a lot of agency / brand friends asking for content creators and briefs for social-first content and we wanted to be able to answer that in a more meaningful way,” says EP, Demi Veselinovic. The creator division provides access to a network of trusted talent with distinct points of view, cultural currency and expertise in their respective spaces, giving agency and brand partners more ways to find the right creative voice for the brief - whether that’s social content, on-screen talent, installations or even experiences.
For creators, being part of the network means access to an experienced commercial production team that can support their ideas and help them navigate larger or more complex opportunities when needed. For clients and agencies, it offers a curated and vetted network of talent, with the confidence of knowing Drip can step in to provide the production infrastructure needed to bring the work to life. Depending on the brief, that could mean supporting creative development and scoping, navigating agency and brand processes, or building out a full production team to scale an idea. The level of involvement can shift from project to project, with Drip providing the right support for the creator, client and brief.
“The network is also about making sure the right talent is on the right job. We see briefs come through that are better suited to the voice, expertise or approach of a creator than a traditional commercial director, and that often has nothing to do with the budget or size of the project. It’s about looking at each brief and putting together the appropriate person or team to execute it. Sometimes that’s a director, sometimes it’s a creator and sometimes it’s a combination of both.” Says Emily Smilie, Founder and EP. By expanding the creative talent Drip has relationships with, the studio can think more openly about who is best suited to the work and build the right team around the idea.
Drip’s creator network is now live, with affiliated creators showcased on the company’s website and more talent to come as the network continues to grow.
