Directors Take Center Stage Again at Directors Lounge

It was standing room only again at the 42nd Directors Lounge last week.

It was another packed house in Dusseldorf last week, as the photo at left attests, as the 42nd Directors Lounge kicked off.  Hosted by Steffen Gentis, Head of TV at BBDO Proximity, the evening followed the usual agenda of these long-standing evenings – a group of directors from around the world who've done interesting work stop by, their spots are shown on the big screen, they're interviewed in the audience by Gentis himself and then there's a little entertainment, a few drinks, a DJ and lots of mingling.  More pictures of the event appear below.

SourceEcreative's James Straker, Managing Director of our London office, and Nicki Masterson, Global Director of Business Development, where on hand to take part in the event.

Directors who took part included Luci Schroder of Big Fish and The Sweet Shop; Ali Ali, who's with Doppelganger; Leone Balduzzi with Black Pearl Film; Lalli Jonsson, who's repped by My Pony; Nico Beyer of Cobblestone Film; the Dutch directing team of Lernert & Sander, who are with Wrong.tv; Skinny, an L.A.-based team with Partizan who appeared via Skype; and Marc & Ish, who are with Markenfilm.
