Peter Lydon is an award winning director of both commercials and television series. 

He has directed cult classics like Shameless, Teachers, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and his period drama Garrow’s Law for BBC won a Royal Television Society Award.

Lydon has also written and directed several prize winning short films. His latest, Dating Eliza, recently won three awards at the LA Comedy Festival in including Best Short Film.

He cut his directing teeth as a documentary maker with award winning films for BBC Arena and The South Bank Show. His three-part biography of Peter Sellers was BAFTA nominated and won several major awards in the US.

As a commercial director, Lydon has helmed campaigns for brands such as Carlsberg, Ikea, Dunlop, and Sky, working with gifted actors including Mads Mikkelson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Al Pacino, and Michael Caine.
