Director Brent Harris joins GREATERGOOD
The award-winning director brings cinematic storytelling and emotional resonance to the GREATERGOOD roster for US commercial representation.
Creative production company GREATERGOOD is proud to announce the signing of acclaimed director Brent Harris for US commercial representation.
Known for his emotionally charged and cinematic filmmaking, Harris has created standout campaigns for global brands including Nike, Coca-Cola, Expedia, EA, Intel, PlayStation, NASCAR, and Goodyear.
Born in South Africa and now based in New York, Harris has built a career around storytelling that blends visual spectacle with deeply human emotion. “Form follows emotion,” Harris explains, an ethos that underpins his award-winning work.
Harris’s directing has been recognised with five Cannes Lions, two AICP Awards, three D&AD Pencils, and a One Show Gold Pencil. His striking balance of scale and intimacy is what drew GREATERGOOD to the collaboration.
“Harris’s work resonates on a visceral level,” said Pedro Aragão de Oliveira, founder of GREATERGOOD. “His ability to balance cinematic grandeur with deeply human moments is precisely what GREATERGOOD aims to bring to our commercial projects. I’ve always believed Harris is the exact kind of director our roster needed. Our collaboration already has great chemistry, and I’m excited to see where it leads.”
Harris added: “I’m drawn to projects that explore the human condition in all its complexity. GREATERGOOD’s commitment to meaningful, impactful work aligns perfectly with my own creative vision.”
In addition to his commercial success, Harris has made significant contributions to narrative filmmaking. His short Locals Only, a personal reflection on growing up in apartheid South Africa, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won Best Film at the 2020 One Screen Film Festival. His 2021 short La Légende paid tribute to iconic French electronic duo Daft Punk.
Currently, Harris is developing a feature film exploring one of the darker chapters in the life of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. His commitment to ambitious storytelling, even in challenging times, is what led him to partner with GREATERGOOD.
“When I met Pedro, I was immediately drawn to his optimistic spirit,” said Harris. “He has a relentless desire to support directors in creating their vision, no matter how ambitious.”
With his passion for emotionally resonant narratives and cinematic execution, Harris is set to be a key creative force at GREATERGOOD.
