Studio RM welcome colourist Juliette Wileman to the team.
Wileman joins us from Absolute Post, where she spent the last five years developing her craft under the mentorship of award-winning colourist Matt Turner. Now based in our London studio, Wileman is part of Studio RM’s global roster of award-winning colourists, joining Myles Bevan and Jamie Noble. Her passion for colour grading, dedication to collaboration, and technical expertise are clear in her impressive portfolio.
Originally from North London, Wileman was inspired to pursue a career in media early on, drawing influence from family and friends who were photographers. She immersed herself in the arts, including literature, film, and photography, before earning a degree in Television Production. Her entry into the industry began as a video editor, but her fascination with colour grading quickly set her on a focused path. After just a year assisting at Absolute, Wileman was ready to grade her own projects.
Wileman brings a rich and versatile portfolio that spans advertising, automotive, beauty, fashion, and promos. Her impressive collaborations include projects for Samsung, Burberry, Expedia, Aston Martin, TikTok, Women’s Aid, Adidas, and De Beers.
She holds her creative partnerships in high regard, having enjoyed working with directors and DOPs like Riff Raff’s Fan and Fon, Hot Icarus, Stephen Pipe, Benedict Spence and Rosie May Bird Smith. Her collaboration with director Sindan Agha on How to Be a Person earned a BAFTA for short-form drama on E4.
“Jules is a rare talent and brings an artistic sensibility to her advertising and promo work that perfectly aligns with Studio RM. As our global presence continues to grow, her expertise is invaluable in expanding our fashion, luxury, and music offerings into new advertising categories, all while maintaining the beautiful aesthetic we’re known for,” says Camilla Bateman, Global Managing Director.
“After five wonderful years at Absolute, I’m thrilled to be joining the talented team at Studio RM. It’s an exciting time for the studio; I can’t wait to get stuck in and contribute to the high calibre work of the colour department!” says Jules Wileman, Colourist.
