Made in collaboration with the charity Children’s Aid and directed by Zen Zadih Pace and Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah, through No Face Studio, All the Ways, follows three families, two of which are immigrants.
All of them are dreaming out loud. A father learns his daughter dreams of being a doctor just so she can take care of him. Another father makes peace with a past he can't undo. A parent admits that having a child means becoming one yourself and figuring it out.
In a political moment when immigrant families are being stripped of their complexity, this gentle film gives it back. These are people who express tender love the way anyone does, imperfectly, but with everything they have.
The lush cinematography is by Jesse Bronstein and the poignant original score is Adam Weiss at Found Objects.
