Netflix Tudum 

Probably the best campaign done in Italy this year. The concept is all played around the iconic Netflix sound logo, usually identified with the word 'tudum'. In the commercial we see different scenes in which people in real life use the word 'tudum' when it looks like a new story is about to start. In the end, in Italy this campaign helped to make the iconic sound logo even more iconic.

Amazon Prime Video Staraoke

Over the past few years drones have been used in various ways in advertising. This campaign by Ogilvy for Amazon Prime Video is definitely one of the most interesting ones. On the occasion of the release of a documentary dedicated to the Italian pop star Laura Pausini, over 500 drones flew over the Colosseum Archaeological Park, synchronised with the music and the lyrics of one of her songs, creating a spectacular karaoke in the sky.

Coordown Just the Two of Us

Small is an independent creative agency based in NYC, but funded by two Italian creative directors. So, yes, in a sense we can see it as an Italian agency. Every year, for many years, they create campaigns in collaboration with Coordown, each time dealing with a different problem related to Down syndrome. This year’s theme is intimate relationships, and they deal with it with delicacy and good taste.

Bottega Veneta Bottega For Bottegas 

In conclusion, another project made by Publicis Italia, in this case for Bottega Veneta. A great example of how, if made with the right attitude, even fashion and luxury brands can have a voice within the advertising awards. A very interesting project, especially for the use of the points of sale as media.
