Once your star rating hits the level of a Cristin Milioti, Jacob Elordi, or St. Vincent, you'd imagine you wouldn't have to audition for much anymore, but not so, if this new promo for Bon Iver is anything to go by.
Based on the conceit of the artist, aka Justin Vernon, announcing his retirement, and searching for his replacement, Day One sees the named performers sit amongst a litany of wannabes vying to get the 'part'; enjoyably including an Elvis impersonator, a mime artist, and an adorable little lad wearing a fake beard.
Directed by Jos Diaz Contreras through Echobend Pictures, the promo manages to maintain interest in its potentially limited concept by having each character give real gusto in their attempt, making every edit a joy.
