Directed by Steve Harding-Hill and animated in Aardman’s signature stop-motion style, this endearing seasonal offering from outdoor clothing brand Barbour once again transports us into the quintessentially British world of claymation duo Wallace & Gromit.
The heartwarming and playful film, titled Warm Wishes, follows the beloved duo as they head out for a traditional Christmas Day walk through the snowy countryside, with Gromit sporting his newly gifted Barbour Sylkoil Wax Dog Coat.
Wallace sees the walk as the perfect opportunity to put his latest invention, the Walk-o-matic, through its paces. But, in true Wallace & Gromit fashion, things quickly descend into chaos when the contraption malfunctions, catapulting Wallace into a mound of snow.
The chilly predicament provides the perfect opportunity for Gromit to present Wallace with his gift: a Barbour Cotton Half Knit Zipped Jumper, appropriately wrapped in tartan.
“Once again, it’s been an absolute joy to work with iconic British brand Barbour, and we hope you love this year’s festive romp where Wallace & Gromit enjoy the fresh air of a Christmas Day stroll. Of course, their rollicking ramble goes wrong, and it’s left up to Gromit, with the help of Barbour, to come to the rescue!” – Steve Harding-Hill, Creative Director of Short Form & Commercials at Aardman
