Every year, the Super Bowl seems to get bigger and better (or at least the ad campaigns do), and this year - the 52nd Big Game - is no different.

Skittles has revealed its plans for the 2018 event and it will leave you scratching your chin, wondering whether they'll be able to pull this one off.

The idea is to screen the ad to just one person - who will be US teenager Marcos Menendez - and then screen his reaction to the world.

At this stage, all we know is that US agency Olson is behind this brave stunt that will feature a celebrity.

The below trailer, structured like a simple news report, explains the stunt in more detail. Before you question why Olson would decide to use their Super Bowl opportunity in this way, the supporting ad provides answers to some of your more unfathomable questions phrased as obscure riddles; "Sometimes what you cannot see is more interesting than what you can see."

While the news reader doesn't hold all of the answers, our attention has definitely been piqued. And it seems so has the public's.

Needless to stay, we're still slightly skeptical. We don't know how or why Menendez was selected by Skittles.

Piecing together the clues, his instagram account dates back to 2016... although it only contains 10 posts. Whether or not this reveals any additional information, we're not quite sure yet. But we will investigate and find out; hold tight for now!
