Whether it's integrated flashing lights or a pocket that cleverly incorporating your phone, the ironic seasonal sweater stakes have risen dramatically over the past few years - and a hideous print of Rudolph - even one sporting a flashing red nose - just isn't going to cut it by the fireside this year.

Thank heavens, then, for WE Fashion, who've come up with a 2017 offering that's sure to get hipsters hot under the collar - and we're not just talking about the polyester-wool blend. 

 

 

While many other brands have gone the heartstring-tugging route and put their money into sentimental TV spots, the Dutch fashion brand has made a brilliant statement about inclusiveness by releasing... drum roll.... a double sweater.

Designed and created together with JWT Amsterdam, the outsized jumper symbolises the brand's motto 'Better Together' and claims to comfortably accommodate you "and your partner of choice" - be that your creepily identical twin brother, a best mate or even a custom-designed life companion/sex doll. 

 

 

These odd couples and more are the subject of the campaign film [above], directed by Nina Aaldering via Holy Fools, which will run on TV and online, supported by a social activation.
