Brits abroad have got a certain reputation as lager-swilling, lobster-skinned louts, shouting the lyrics to Wonderwall at all moments while eating 'burger AVEC chips'. How fair this reputation is is up for debate, but one thing is certain; more Britons could do with learning another language, with nearly 75% unable to do so.

If anything can change that, perhaps it's a new stunt by Wieden+Kennedy London for online language-learning company Babbel. In Missing Out, directed by Tom Gorst of Full Fat Films for Wieden+Kennedy London, a man approaches British tourists talking in Spanish they can't understand. On screen, however, subtitles pop up saying what the man is saying, and we see he is offering them free luxury items like yachts, €5000 [above], and even a leg of Spanish ham. Sadly for any Serrano fans, however, the offer goes unexpected as the tourists can't understand what is being said to them.

The stunt ad is part of Babbel's wider Be a Better Brit Abroad campaign, and has featured across the brand's social media channel.
