If anyone's deserving of a victory lap, it's Usain Bolt. the multiple Olympic gold medal and world-records-holder. So, as he ran his last professional race, Virgin Media and CURB gave him exactly that through a series of projections in London.

As shown in the video documenting the stunt, this run began in Brixton, noted for its large community of people from Bolt's home country, Jamaica. From their, it illuminates London landmarks like Tower Bridge and the Tate Modern. From there, it goes onto places with biographical resonance for Bolt, from the bar where he gave a DJ gig after winning gold in the London 2012 Olympics, and then into Soho, where he celebrated his 30th birthday in August 2016. The video ends with '#ARunningLegend' being projected onto City Hall.

Virgin Media and Usain Bolt have had a relationship since 2012, when he became a brand ambassador, appearing in a series of acclaimed campaigns for the entertainment brand. These include a video made of 10 9.58-second sections (representing the artist's world record 100m run), a Jamican dancehall song made from the music from that ad, and a brief appearance in Virgin Media's recent high-octane chase set inside a fibreoptic cable.
