According to a spokesperson for the telecomms company, "rap provides guidance, a rhythm, a flow and you increase your vocabulary, which really helps children who stutter."

With that in mind, DDB & Tribal Amsterdam they have worked with Dutch rappers Ali B, Broederliefde, Sevn Alias, Kevin, Soufiane Eddyani and Jairzinho (we're just going to have to assume they're big names, not being that au fait with the leading lights of the current Dutch rap scene) in creating Get the Flow, which allows stutterers to test themselves by trying to rap along to music by the big names of Dutch rap (... we're assuming).

In the video made to show the power of the app, we meet the app's first user. Mitch, a young rap fan who gains enough confidence through the app to enter the studio and rap with his idol Ali B, the Jay-Z of Dutch rap. Probably. Again, we have no idea.

DDB & Tribal Worldwide creative director Ed van Bennekom said of the app, "it’s great to see that brands can add real value to people’s lives. In the case of Vodafone, a telecommunications brand that helps children who stutter to communicate better. It’s magical to witness that when children start rapping, their stutter disappears. We think that using something kids enjoy, like rap as a tool to battle stuttering will really motivate these kids to practice their speech skills more often and reduce their stutter.”
