The Christmas period is well and truly over, but Les Gaulois has found a way to extend it with new initiative, RUN TO MUM, held in partnership with adidas, HOP! Air France and clothes brand, Citadium.

While Christmas is about spending time with the family, for kids who have flown the nest long ago, it can seem like an excruciating time in which they have to live under their family’s rule again. So by the end of the season, the kids crave their independence while the mums despair about when they’ll next see their babies.

The RUN TO MUM campaign resolves this issue by finding a way to lure children back home again. Through the power of trainers.

Launched today, the campaign encourages parents to buy a pair of newly-launched 2017 adidas EQT Support ADV sneakers… however, one trainer will be sent directly to the kid… and will be kept at home with the parent.

That way, kids will have to take a trip home to receive the full pair.

The campaign is being launched through HOP! Air France as the shoe box will contain one HOP! Air France young person’s card – to encourage them to get on the plane home and retrieve the missing shoe.

Tempted to try it on your offspring? Find out more through the dedicated website or follow #RunToMum.
