The Creative Circle, Europe’s longest running creative awards body celebrated their 81st awards ceremony under the sun and stars at Dreamland, Margate, closing a hugely successful UK Creative Festival.

The whole of the UK creative community gathered by the sea to find out whose work would be taking home Gold and which companies would be celebrating with the top awards of the night.

Leo UK took home the big one, as they were awarded the Gold of Golds for their heart-breaking work for Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank, Wrong Side of the Bed.

The big winners of the night were Biscuit Filmworks who won Most Creative Production Company for the fourth year in a row and the Electric Theatre Collective who won Most Creative Post Production Company for the sixth year in a row. Cabin Edit and 750MPH were also celebrating after being named the Most Creative companies in their respective fields for the second year running.

But the night belonged to Uncommon Creative Studio who were named Most Creative Agency for the sixth time, (and second year running) and won a total of x25 different awards.

This year, the Creative Circle President, Charlene Chandrasekaran, chose to honour a company not an individual, bestowing the President’s Award to Post Production Company String and Tins.

“In 2013, there used to be a little startup company on Lexington Street. If I remember correctly, the lift was really dicey, and there was always a distinct waft of damp in the air. And then, when you actually reached the office, it was basically a cupboard crudely fashioned into a studio. It was, what can only be described as 'a vibe'. But you didn't go there for the bouji interior. You went there because you knew the talent was second to none. And you knew you were working with people who absolutely loved what they did. Whatever you were making, was going to be 10x better with them by your side. Fast-forward to 2026 and I am still in awe of what they have managed to achieve and continue to strive for, not only for us, but for the next generation of creative talent coming through.” said Chandrasekaran.

Chandrasekaran handed over to the new President, British Film Director Charlotte Regan. The Creative Circle are really excited to have Regan on board, and this is a new chapter for the Circle with Regan being the first film director to lead the Circle.

This year 47 entries were celebrated in unentered categories by our Gold Judges, giving them a complimentary entry. Of the 47 there were 23 Golds, 10 Silvers and 14 Bronzes, with 34 different companies benefitting from this. The Creative Circle is the only creative awards body to do this, and we do so in our passion to honestly celebrate creativity in the UK.

“It’s been a challenging but incredible year for UK creativity, with a record-breaking number of entries to the awards, proving that UK creativity is well and truly alive!” Jeremy Green, CEO of the Creative Circle said. “We are also extremely proud of our incredible community who have supported the Circle all over the UK at our regional Creative Town Hall sessions. Seeing creatives from all over the country coming together in Margate tonight to support and celebrate one another is very special. We are really looking forward to welcoming our new President Charlotte Regan and seeing what magic she will add to the ever-evolving Circle.”

The Creative Circle is owned entirely by the UK creative community. It is judged purely on creative excellence and any working creative in the UK can register to be part of the judging process, this ensures inclusivity and industry-wide participation. Entries will open for the 2027 Awards this Autumn and registration for judges is open now.
