Whitehouse Post welcome editor Angelo Valencia back to its global roster.
This marks a homecoming for Valencia, who previously edited at Whitehouse Post before continuing his creative journey at Beast and as a Partner at Optimus, where he built an impressive body of commercial and long-form work while mentoring a new generation of editors. Known for his instinctive storytelling, cinematic pacing, and collaborative approach, Valencia rejoins Whitehouse as Partner/ Lead Editor, following an exceptional career shaping memorable work for many of the world's leading brands, agencies, and filmmakers.
Throughout his career, Valencia has collaborated with premier agencies including Leo Chicago, Energy BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, BarkleyOKRP, Dentsu Creative, and Escape Pod, crafting campaigns for brands including Amazon Prime, Netflix, USAA, Campbell's, Whirlpool, Pampers, Kerrygold, Hillshire Farm, Cologuard, and many more. His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, AICP, and numerous international award competitions, earning him a reputation as one of the industry's most trusted creative partners.
Most recently, Valencia edited a seven-spot campaign for USAA, the visually rich Color Story campaign for Crayola, and a short film that will receive a live orchestral performance at the Hollywood Bowl this month. His recent work also includes serving as supervising editor on Amazon Prime's Top Class and the Netflix feature documentary Untapped, demonstrating the range and versatility that have defined his career.
"Whitehouse has always been a place that values great people and great work in equal measure," says Valencia. "I've watched the company continue to evolve while never losing sight of the creative standards that made it special. Coming back feels incredibly exciting. The talent here is second to none, the breadth of work is inspiring, and there's a genuine drive to keep pushing creatively every single day. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with longtime collaborators, building new relationships across Whitehouse's global network, and helping create the next chapter of great work alongside this team." Beyond the edit suite, Valencia is equally passionate about helping develop emerging talent.
"I've been fortunate to work with incredible editors throughout my career, and mentoring has become one of the most rewarding parts of the job," he says. "I hope to help grow every Whitehouse office, collaborate with both longtime and future clients, and work alongside the next generation of editors as they build remarkable careers of their own."
Whitehouse Post CEO Catherine Tobiasinsky says Valencia's return represents another significant step as the company continues investing in world-class creative talent across its global studios.
“Angelo’s ability to elevate storytelling while earning the trust of directors, agencies, and brands is exceptional," says Tobiasinsky. "Bringing him back to Whitehouse is more than a homecoming, it's an investment in the future of our creative offering. His editorial instincts, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence perfectly reflect who we are as a company. We're thrilled to welcome him back and know his presence will make our already outstanding roster even stronger."
